LázekLázek (714 m above sea level) is the highest hill of Zábřeh Highlands. Conspicuous hill in foothills of Orlické and Jeseníky Mountains is made of Zábřeh paragneiss crystalinicum. There is a lot of protected areas that make evidence of clean nature, e.g. V dole, Selský Brook, Selský Wood and Březná Natural Park. Lázek is situated on historical Bohemian-Moravian borderline; national border led through this area as well. National Unity of Olomouc bought ground of Lázek and in 1908 monument of Svatopluk Čech was built. Alongside, in 1912 Unity built new wooden, 15 m high observation tower that was destroyed by antibohemian vandals.

In 1933, according to architect Stejskal proposal, new mason Reichl’s tourist chalet with observation tower and pub was built. It offers wide view of Orlické Mountains, Podorlická Hilly Area, Hrubý Jeseník and foothills of Jeseníky Mountains all the way to fertile Haná Area. Nearby, we can find monument of antinazi resistance victims of WW II.
