Suchý vrch

Natural park is typical with its mutual balance and harmony of natural and antropic elements, especially because of shifting of vast wood complexes, balanced agricultural areas and human dwellings. Unequivocal dominance of wood ecosystems (mostly spruce monocultures) with rest of mixed beech-fir vegetation prefigures representation of flora and fauna species. Apart from these species, presence of round-leaved sundew on the peatbog under Suchý Hill is significant.
Southern part of the natural park is intensively used for recreation. Every year, downhill and cross-country lanes in the winter resort of Čenkovice attracts thousands of visitors. Artillery fortress Bouda is a historical and natural interest (it is part of Museum of Czechoslovak fortification) that is also rich wintering place of 9 bat species.
