Region Lanškrounsko

Reservation is made of old beechwood on the steep slope with many plaener small rocks and sandstone boulders. We can find here conservationist significant flora species, e.g. poisonous cuckoo pint (Arum maculatum) that has interestingly shaped flowers and conspicuous coral-red berries.

On the plaener small rocks we can find rare green spleenwort (Asplenium viride) and hard shield-fern (Polystichum lobatum) that differs from other fern in hibernated dark-green leaves. There is more than 240 fungus species, e.g. rare bear’s head fungus (Hericium clathroides). We can find here typical vertebrate fauna species and typical mollusc and beetle species.

Area: 50. 22 ha. Established by regulation of municipal authority of Ústí nad Orlicí, 1st March 2000.

Protection reason: preservation of rock formations and natural and natural-like vegetation of floriferous beechwood, fir-beechwood and detritus woods. European watershed Elbe-Danube goes through Třebovské rock face ridge.
