Lázek (714 m above sea level) is the highest hill of Zábřeh Highlands. Conspicuous hill in foothills of Orlické and Jeseníky Mountains is made of Zábřeh paragneiss crystalinicum. There is a lot of protected areas that make evidence of clean nature, e.g. V dole, Selský Brook, Selský Wood and Březná Natural Park. Lázek is situated on historical Bohemian-Moravian borderline; national border led through this area as well. National Unity of Olomouc bought ground of Lázek and in 1908 monument of Svatopluk Čech was built. Alongside, in 1912 Unity built new wooden, 15 m high observation tower that was destroyed by antibohemian vandals.

Poutní místo a kostel na Mariánské hoře (491 m n.m.) stojí přímo na hlavním evropském rozvodí. Z levého okapu střechy kostela stéká voda do Čermenky, Tiché Orlice a Labe, které ústí v Severním moři, z pravého teče do Moravské Sázavy, Moravy a Dunaje, který se vlévá do Černého moře.

This river is the right affluent of Morava River. It rises at the south-western hillside of Buková Mountain (958 m high) in Orlické Mountains in the sea level of 780 m; 1.5 km to the south-east from village of Čenkovice.

It was established in 1987 as rest area according to act no. 40/1956 Coll. Central part of natural park (area of 6,427 ha) comprises of separated ridge of the most eastern tip of Orlické Mountains – Bukovohorská Highlands. Its height (Suchý vrch 995 m above sea level, Buková Mountain 958 m above sea level) rises up to antagonistic value country zone. Červenovodské Saddle (main road goes through it) separates ridge into two parts.

Reservation is made of old beechwood on the steep slope with many plaener small rocks and sandstone boulders. We can find here conservationist significant flora species, e.g. poisonous cuckoo pint (Arum maculatum) that has interestingly shaped flowers and conspicuous coral-red berries.

Jagged Zábřežská Highlands (734 km2) separates Hornomoravský Hollow and Mohelnická Furrow from Podorlická Upland (originally part of Česká Cretaceous Basin) and from Králická Furrow (part of Kladská Basin). Breach valleys of Moravská Sázava and Třebůvka River separate this highlands from north into three parts – Drozdovská, Mírovská and Bouzovská Highlands that decrease to the south.
