Natural monument Pod skálou – Mladějovské tisy occupies south-eastern hillsides of Červená Mountain (606 m above sea level), parts of Hřebečský Ridge of European watershed. Because of its rich presence of naturally growing common yew (taxus baccata) in underbrush of mixed rich wooden vegetation with rock outbursts this locality is very exceptional.

Besides yew we can find also common juniper, daphne and other species of detritus societies. Bare rock-faces pass over differently wide detritus bands with dominant dogwood. Narrow-gauged railway goes through edge of natural reserve; Mladějovské hradisko stood on the nearby slope. This is area well accessible thanks to two slope road leading from Mladějov.
Natural monument Mladějovské tisy – Pod skálou was established by Department of Culture, 21st November 1954. Area of 21.10 ha, cadastral territory: Nová Ves/Mladějov.
Protection reason: Natural and rich floristic wood vegetation with numerous rock outbursts. Vast population of common yew is exceptional.
