After his forced leaving of the country, chateau became property of Lichtenštejn family who sold it to local landowner. In 1798, chateau burn down and after the fire its southern and western wings and arcade corridors of other wings were taken down. New outbuilding and residential buildings were built in the place of pull down buildings. In one part of chateau, there was a tavern. After 1945, chateau served as storage and decayed. In the middle of 1980’s, total reconstruction of chateau was finished, sgraffiti and plaster stucco decoration of ceilings (one of the most lavishly decorated) were renewed. Well-preserved Renaissance entrance and courtyard portals and several Renaissance window reveal are very precious.
